About This Spot

Wong's Restaurant feels like a quietly cherished neighborhood treasure, where time slows just enough to savor each moment. Nestled on Anchorage Road, this Cantonese eatery wraps you in a gentle, familiar warmth from the moment you step through its doors. The lighting is soft and inviting, casting a comfortable glow over tables where chatter flows easily and strangers might just become companions over shared plates.

The pace here encourages unhurried enjoyment — an atmosphere where the hum of conversations and the occasional clink of chopsticks form a steady rhythm. It’s a place where the food's freshness and care quietly speak for themselves, creating a calm yet lively sanctuary for both regulars and curious travelers. This place is a gem. The food is to die for. Everything is so fresh! They have the best egg drop soup under the sun. I love that their prices are reasonable, especially their lunch specials. If you can make it on a Monday you can catch their buffet which allows you to try a sampling of their amazing food!

The space is very welcoming and service was great, food was also good and very cheap but I only tried basic plates so I didn’t have much to go off of, overall great place

Stopped while traveling. Found out a few things. Most importantly, Wong’s has been around 70 years!!! We had veggie fried rice and veggie Singapore noodles. Both were solid choices. It’s old school Cantonese style. Love the serving plates with the lids. The waiter was really kind and helpful.

wow. Where do I start. First of all, the lighting in this place is cinematic, and vibes immaculate. Great conversation with our waiter/host. We had chao mian, orange chicken, and broccoli beef + banging eggrolls. Honestly couldn’t be happier with this experience, even made me think about starting a life in Warsaw, IN as a mechanic, or pharmacist that also sold soda pop and drugs. Like the kind of soda that is medical and can heal you. So happy for Wong and his family for opening this establishment. And the prices sheeeeeeshhhh. Eli adds
